Application For Competent Driving License (CDL)

Applications can be made at any JPJ Branch Office and e-Services kiosk.

CDL Application Requirements:

• Apply within 7 days prior to the expiration of provisional period
• Application period is one (1) year from the PDL expiry date
• The owner is not blacklisted
• Driving license can be applied for a period of 1 to 5 years

Documents Required:

• Original MyKad / passport of applicants or copies if the transaction is done by representatives
• Original identification of representatives
• 1 color photo (white background) with dimension of 25 mm x 32 mm (optional)
• Hold a valid passport (For foreigners)
• Fee of RM20.00 for Class B2, B & C (RM2.00 for Class A/A1)
• Fee of RM30.00 for Class D & above
